General Description

The SKILLED LABORER Contractor is responsible for performing a wide range of construction-related tasks across residential and commercial job sites under Empire Vue LLC. Work may vary by project and is completed under an independent contractor agreement.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform basic framing, including layout, cutting, and assembly.
2. Install windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
3. Perform fixture mounting
4. Assist with finish carpentry, trim, and hardware installation as needed.
5. Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
6. Handle materials and tools responsibly; report damaged or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: framing, finish carpentry, window/door installation, or general construction.
2. Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
3. Must possess and maintain personal hand tools appropriate to assigned tasks.
4. Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
5. Must follow all general and site-specific safety procedures.
